The IAC invites applications for one indefinite engineering contract focused on electromagnetic wave / laser propagation through the atmosphere.
Main functions
- Understand and formulate the main characteristics of laser propagation through the atmosphere, especially wavefront aberration due to turbulence
- Perform the required propagation simulations and link-budget calculations, using and developing the necessary simulation programs
- Provide technical assistance in the procurement of specialty components, and follow up and justify related funding
