Senior Electronics Engineer

Revolv SpaceTurin, Italy
ContractRemoteEngineering

Space assets and services are not fully monetized. At Revolv Space, we are solving the problem of low duty cycles by developing and manufacturing the next generation of critical subsystems enabling continuous spacecraft operations and therefore full monetization of space assets.

We start with tackling the power limitations of small satellites by providing best-in-class products for small satellites: Solar Array Drive Assemblies, solar arrays and deployment mechanisms.

To achieve this mission, we are on the lookout for a Senior Electronics Engineer. In this role, you will own core electronics design, analysis and test responsibilities while preparing our hardware architecture for high-volume manufacturing.

Location: Turin, Italy

Working language: English

Starting date: November/December 2026

Your mission:

  • Lead and contribute to PCB/PCBA/FPC electronics design, schematic capture, component selection, and board bring-up

  • Serve as the primary technical authority for hardware trade-offs between performance, cost, and manufacturability

  • Apply and validate (including prototyping and testing) design changes to existing electronic systems

  • Analyze electronic systems from the standpoint of electromagnetic compatibility, heat transfer, radiation robustness, reliability, and other important performance characteristics

  • Plan and execute qualification and delta qualification campaigns of electronic systems for space applications

  • Embed testability (DFT) and automated integration strategies directly into the early hardware design phases

  • Define and implement automated testing gates, End-of-Line (EOL) testing protocols, and automated test equipment setups

  • Optimise designs for high-volume manufacturing (DFM), yield optimization, and supply chain reliability

  • Collaborate with internal system integrators and contract manufacturers to establish seamless assembly and testing pipelines.

What you bring:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field

  • 8-12 years of experience as an Electronics Design Engineer with successful full-lifecycle board-level products as part of your experience

  • Industry experience with the design and testing of electric actuators, especially precision stepper and BLDC motors (GaNFET based drivers are very nice to have). Experience with high reliability switching power supplies

  • Hands-on experience with EMC/EMI testing both pre-compliance and qualification,

  • Knowledge of radiation phenomena and their impact on electronic systems, as well as radiation analysis and testing methodology

  • Basic knowledge of heat generation and heat transfer phenomena

  • Demonstrated skills in reliability analysis (e.g. based on MIL-HDBK-217) and Failure Mode and Criticality Analyses (FMECA/FMEA) - both in design and production

  • Hands-on experience scaling electronics from low-volume prototypes to high-volume production runs

  • Strong practical knowledge of setting up automated testing pipelines, test benches, functional testing gates, and manufacturing test scripts (basics of Python,,C, C++, etc.)

  • Deep familiarity with DFM, DFT, and DFA principles applied early in the hardware design cycle

  • fluent use of English.

What we offer:

  • Compensation package between EUR 60.000-70.000, according to both real experience and proficiency in the role

  • goal-oriented environment with flexible working hours

  • possibility of occasional remote work

  • international team driven by passion and commitment

  • company activities and retreats

  • meal vouchers (Buoni pasto)

  • hands-on experience with the design, manufacturing, and testing of space-grade systems

  • direct impact on a NewSpace startup in the heart of Europe’s high-tech hub

  • possibility of participation in the early-employee equity scheme.

About the hiring process:

  1. 15-min screening call with Gaia (HR Manager)

  2. Depending on the role, take-home exercise

  3. 60 min technical interview with your future closest teammates;

  4. 45-min behavioural interview with Marco (CEO), HR and the founding team

  5. Welcome onboard!

The main language of the hiring process is English. We might ask you for an in-person meeting.

Studies have shown that women and people from unprivileged backgrounds are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Revolv Space, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
