Sales Engineer
Space is one of the fastest-growing industries in the world. Thousands of satellites launch every year, and the market behind them is booming — with Poland right in the middle of it, home to a fast-rising space sector.
Liftero is at the heart of this trend. We build propulsion systems for the thousands of spacecraft coming to orbit, with the ambition to become the global leader in satellite propulsion — the transport layer of the space economy. Our goal is clear: deploy 1,000 propulsion systems in space.
Our core product is BOOSTER, a non-toxic chemical propulsion system built from first principles for the NewSpace era. It has already been validated in space.
We're a post-IPO startup, growing fast to serve the booming small-satellite market. Joining now means a front-row seat to space technology and real ownership over what we build.
Position Overview
When a customer first talks to Liftero about propulsion, they want to talk to someone who actually understands the engineering. That's this role.
We're looking for a Sales Engineer to be the technical front line of our commercial team. You'll join customer calls, lead the technical conversation, and work with customers to nail down what their mission really needs. Once an opportunity is real, you'll translate it into a clear brief for our product team and own the proposal through to submission. You sit at the intersection of engineering and sales — credible from the first call, and the person who turns a technical conversation into a deal. You'll work closely with our Business Development team and report into Commercial.
Your Daily Impact
- Being the technical voice on customer calls — leading discussions, answering the hard questions, and building credibility from the first conversation.
- Working with customers to define and refine their mission requirements over calls and email.
- Translating customer needs into clear briefs for the product team to configure.
- Owning proposals end to end — pulling together technical and commercial content into a sharp, on-time response.
- Representing Liftero at industry events, conferences, and customer site visits.
- Bringing customer insights and market signals back to the team to sharpen how we sell and position BOOSTER.
Is This You?
- A space engineering background — propulsion experience is a strong plus.
- 2+ years in a technical sales, sales engineering, or customer-facing engineering role — or strong engineering experience and the instinct to move toward the commercial side.
- You can lead a technical conversation with engineering customers and hold your own from the first call.
- A commercial instinct — you read the room, pick up buying signals, and know how to move an opportunity forward.
- Strong written communication — proposals and requirement exchanges are a big part of the job.
- Happy to travel for customer meetings and industry events.
- Fluent English. Comfortable in an international, technical environment.

What It's Like to Work With Us
Working at Liftero is meaningful, fast-paced, and human. We respect your time and your life outside the office — we're not pretending work is your second home. If you're having a tough day, say it. If you're in flow state, we trust you to manage your own time.
The work is demanding, but that's where the growth is — and you'll see the direct impact of what you build. Because we're a startup that moves quickly, every team member has a real voice in what we ship, and a genuine stake in how the company grows.
