Position Overview

We're a growing space-tech company on a steep trajectory, and the way we hire, onboard, and take care of our people will shape what kind of company we become.

We're looking for our Head of People & Culture - a senior person to own and grow this function end-to-end. You'll lead recruiting, onboarding, performance, and culture, and put in place the standards that let a fast-moving company stay great as it grows. You'll report directly to founding team and work closely with our team leads.

Your Daily Impact

  • Owning hiring from start to finish - writing the role, finding candidates, interviewing, making offers.
  • Upgrading and running a clear onboarding process for every new hire, in close coordination with Admin, IT, and team leads.
  • Owning the policies and processes that keep how we work clear and consistent as the company evolves.
  • Running performance and pay reviews, supporting managers, and stepping in for the harder conversations.
  • Shaping our culture through all-hands, offsites, team events, and the smaller rituals that make Liftero feel like Liftero.
  • Being Liftero's face for talent externally - at job fairs, in candidate conversations, and through employer branding work with Marketing.
  • Growing a small People team around you as we scale, bringing in specialists in recruiting, HR ops, and culture over time.

Is This You?

  • 4+ years working in People roles, including time at a startup or scale-up where you helped the company grow significantly.
  • You've done a bit of everything - recruiting, HR ops, performance, pay, and culture. Not just one of these.
  • You can switch gears in the same day - strategy in the morning, hands-on work in the afternoon.
  • You speak Polish fluently and English well.
  • You like building things - you'd rather create something new than tidy something that already exists.
  • You're comfortable around engineers and technical people. Experience in hardware, aerospace, robotics, or automotive companies is a strong plus.
