ESA/ELGRA Gravity-Related Research Summer School 2026
About the Program:
Join the 11th ESA/ELGRA Gravity-Related Research Summer School for a unique 10-day experience combining onsite learning in Belgium (15–19 June 2026) and online sessions (22–26 June 2026). This program offers expert-led lectures, hands-on workshops, and team projects focused on microgravity and hypergravity research in life and physical sciences.
What You’ll Do:
Attend lectures and workshops led by ESA and ELGRA experts.
Collaborate in teams to design and present a gravity-related experiment.
Gain insights into space research, systems engineering, and project management.
Network with peers and professionals in the European space sector.
Who Can Apply:
University students (Bachelor from 2nd year or Master) in science or engineering for the 2025–2026 academic year.
No prior experience in gravity-related research or ESA/ELGRA sponsorship.
Citizens of ESA Member States, Canada, or Associate Members.
Minimum age: 18 years.
Benefits:
Certificate of participation and transcript for ECTS credits.
Sponsorship by ESA covering accommodation, meals, and travel expenses (up to 350 EUR).
Opportunity to apply for ESA Academy’s Experiments Programme after completion.
