Space assets and services are not fully monetized. At Revolv Space, we are solving the problem of low duty cycles by developing and manufacturing the next generation of critical subsystems enabling continuous spacecraft operations and therefore full monetization of space assets.

We start with tackling the power limitations of small satellites by providing best-in-class products for small satellites: Solar Array Drive Assemblies, solar arrays and deployment mechanisms.

To achieve this mission, we are on the lookout for an Electronic AIT Technician who will have great laboratory skills related to electrical and electronics. This role provides close collaboration with the AIT team lead and across other production and laboratory roles. Responsibilities:

  • Perform assembly and inspections of engineering and flight-worthy electrical / electronic assemblies;

  • Provide inputs to the electronics design and testing of our products with the focus on manufacturability;

  • Participate in the quality management processes related to AIT of our products;

  • Maintain order in your assigned part of the lab infrastructure;

  • Document your AIT activities;

  • Work closely with design engineers to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, providing a feedback loop to the design of our products;

  • Contribute to the development of test fixtures and ground support equipment;

  • Participate in the development and conducting of tests for the validation and flight qualification of our products.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 yrs of experience in hands-on AIT activities on complex electronic / electrical / electromechanical systems, like spacecraft systems, scientific measurement equipment, aircraft maintenance, or similar;

  • Strong skillset in electronics assembly and testing;

  • Familiarity with soldering/rework/harnessing/inspection standards and good practices applicable to the sector (familiarity with ECSS standards will be considered an advantage);

  • Excellent diligence, work organization and precise communication skills;

  • Strong attention to detail and meticulous record-keeping;

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;

  • Fluent use of English.
