Hispansion

Madrid start-up making lunar soil simulants for testing hardware on Earth.

Hispansion Works, founded in 2024 in Leganés by Carlos Aguilar Borasteros and Jaime Abella Larraz, produces high-fidelity lunar regolith simulants for ISRU, rover, and habitat tests. Incubated at ESA BIC Madrid and based at Universidad Carlos III, it also plans lunar-environment test services for labs that cannot run their own analogue campaigns.
