Cailabs, founded in 2013 in Rennes by Jean-François Morizur and Guillaume Labroille, shapes laser light with multi-plane light conversion for space, industry, and telecoms. Its TILBA optical ground stations compensate atmospheric turbulence for satellite laser links. The company has more than 150 staff, offices in Paris and Arlington, and is building a Rennes factory for those stations.
