We are seeking an Electronics & Avionics Technician to join our pioneering team in the stratospheric domain. At Involve Space, we are at the forefront of aerospace innovation, developing solutions that push the boundaries of high-altitude platforms for Earth observation and defense. Key responsibilities:

  • Work with the Avionics Engineer and the CTO to assemble, test, and troubleshoot electronic systems for stratospheric balloons and pseudo-satellites.
  • Work on the integration of payloads, including sensors, avionics, and communication systems.
  • Collaborate with our engineering team on stratospheric platform development.
  • Ensure quality control in hardware assembly and testing, with a focus on reliability under extreme atmospheric conditions.
  • Participate in post-launch analysis to enhance system performance.

Basic qualifications:

  • Proven experience with a variety of electronic projects.
  • Skilled in Through-Hole Technology (THT) and Surface-Mount Device (SMD) soldering.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware assembly, troubleshooting, and system integration.
  • Proficiency in ECAD software (e.g., KiCad, Eagle).
  • Ability to work in a high-density talent environment where collaboration and precision are crucial.
  • Preferred but not required:

  • Bachelor€™s degree in Electronics or a related field.
  • Experience in the aerospace or aviation domain.
