Control Systems Engineer
Odysseus Space is looking for a full-time Control Systems Engineer for Pointing, Acquisition & Tracking (PAT), who will help Odysseus Space to achieve its goals, in collaboration with the rest of the team. The engineer will join our headquarters in Luxembourg.
Requirements
Fluency in English, theoretical and hands-on experience in Guidance Navigation & Control (GNC) engineering are required for the position.
Has 3+ years of experience in GNC engineering.
Holds a Master’s degree in Control Engineering, Space Engineering or related field.
Has experience with lab-based system identification and characterization of real systems.
Has experience across all phases of product development, from design to testing and validation.
Has worked on space projects and/or multi-disciplinary systems.
Has experience with embedded systems or real-time control.
Is proficient with MATLAB/ Simulink and scripting languages such as Python.
Is familiar with Linux-based environments or is able to get acquainted in a fast manner.
Is familiar with Microsoft office suite and Teams or is able to get acquainted in a fast manner.
Is an outstanding verbal and written communicator in English with great interpersonal skills.
Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and has high standards for execution of tasks.
Thrives in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment.
Produces well-structured, high-quality technical documentation.
Is a reliable and fun colleague to work with.
Has a citizenship from a member state of both EU and NATO.
Responsibilities
Develop, test, and validate control systems for pointing, acquisition & tracking.
Perform system modelling, identification and lab characterization of both hardware and software components.
Collaborate and interface with multidisciplinary teams across hardware and software domains.
Write and review documentation.
