The Opportunity At Decen Space, we're transforming how satellite operators access ground infrastructure - making it radically simpler and more cost-effective to communicate with spacecraft. As thousands of new satellites launch and demand for ground station capacity explodes, we're building the mission control software and marketplace that will power this new era.


Our Vision Decen Space aims to increase access to space infrastructure, creating a future where satellite communication is as seamless and accessible as cloud computing. We're convinced that the next decade of space innovation depends on radically simplifying networking operations.


We need an exceptional commercial leader to join as CCO and Co-Founder, someone who understands both the technical complexity of satellite operations and the business dynamics of infrastructure marketplaces.

The Challenge You'll Own

Network Development & Supply Side

  • Forge partnerships with ground station operators across global markets

  • Structure agreements that drive quality capacity to our platform

  • Build scalable processes for rapid network expansion

Customer Success & Demand Side

  • Engage with satellite operators from emerging startups to established constellations

  • Translate complex technical requirements into commercial solutions

  • Design pricing models that scale across diverse use cases and customer segments

  • Earn trust where reliability and performance are non-negotiable

Market Strategy

  • Define our positioning in a rapidly evolving ecosystem

  • Identify and capture beachhead markets where we can demonstrate clear value

  • Develop the narrative that makes our platform the obvious choice

  • Balance marketplace dynamics to create value for both sides of the network

Who You Are

Domain Experience (at least 2 of these):

  • Deep relationships with satellite operators and understanding of their operational challenges

  • Experience building partnerships with infrastructure or network operators

  • Background in two-sided marketplaces or platform businesses

  • Expertise in space, telecommunications, or critical infrastructure sectors

Commercial Track Record:

  • Closed complex, technical deals with sophisticated buyers

  • Built partner ecosystems in industries with competing interests

  • Developed new categories or educated markets on transformative solutions

  • Navigated long enterprise sales cycles while maintaining startup velocity

The Intangibles:

  • High-level technical fluency in space/telecom domains

  • Commercial sophistication to build a venture-scale business

  • Genuine excitement about making space infrastructure more accessible

  • Natural ability to build trust with both technical and business stakeholders

We're a startup based in Berlin and Bremen. Ideal candidate would be located in one of these cities or nearby, with flexible remote options. EU-based preferred for timezone alignment, but we're open to exceptional candidates who share our vision and values, regardless of location.
